This round features problems on two languages from opposite sides of the world. One of them is a Dravidian language of India. Dravidian languages are spoken by more than 200 million people in South and Southeast Asia. This is the sixth largest language family in the world by number of speakers. The other language is from a much smaller language family, Macro-Jê. This language family contains about 20 languages, which are spoken by around 50,000 people in Brazil.

Indian Day is an official holiday in Brazil that recognizes and honors the indigenous peoples of the country. Kaingang people traditionally eat beef on this day.
